Gus Crabtree

Gus Crabtree, age 14 of Blount County, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in the arms of his caretaker at Countryside Veterinary Services on December 9, 2025. Gus will be reunited with his owner, Deanna Crabtree, in the Lord’s heavenly kingdom, where he will never again leave Deanna’s side. Gus’s spunky personality captured the hearts of the Countryside staff, where he was surrendered in early 2025. He is survived by his canine “girlfriend”, Teeter, and his veterinary technician, Angie - who now has a dachshund shaped hole in her heart. Gus was loved by all, and will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, please honor Gus’s memory by rolling down a grassy hill and asking for extra whipped cream with your next Starbucks order.
